But not only has he been pushing his skills to the limit - he has also been working for months with Hypetrain Motors to develop and test a new FPV motor adjusted to his preferences.
After months of development and testing, the Hypetrain Cricket 2306.6 2550KV Motor is finally here! The first thing that makes this motor stand out is the shiny 24K gold plating that covers the one piece bell as well as the base of the motor. And yes - it's real gold!
But it's not all about the bling - the Cricket motor takes a new approach in internals as well. The 2306.6 motor has a slightly taller stator than other motors in it's class, producing a small increase in power while maintaining torque. The motor also features oversized N52H magnets to optimize performance.
The structural design of the motor does not cut corners - the Cricket motor employs the same one-piece bell construction as the proven Hypetrain Vanover motor. This brings extra durability to the motor's construction while giving an edge to its appearance. Durability is always welcome when it comes to FPV pilots wanting to improve their skills!
As with all Hypetrain motors, the Cricket motor uses an "open bottom" type base that helps with direct airflow cooling and weight savings, and comes with a standard 16x16 mm mounting screw layout. The motors also uses high quality, silicone sheathed multi strand wires that are long enough for direct connection to the 4-in-1 ESC of your choice.
